Paris based Edouard François, one of the main protagonists of international green architecture, presents the RIBA's Ozolins Lecture for 2010 His work focuses on context, environment, landscape, economy and innovation, with designs that integrate both the natural and built environments. François has come to prominence through projects in France such as the Fouquet's, the gîtes ruraux in Jupilles-Sarthe and the Flower Tower in Paris, which deploy vegetation as a construction material, thermal agent and iconic façade device.
