On a recent visit to new Kent BSF Gleeds Ambassador Sir Steve Redgrave met with Rhiannon Hughes, Headteacher of Thamesview School which has just undergone a four year rebuilding process as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme. Rhiannon discusses how the new school will become a legacy for thousands of students in the area to have a better education by embracing transformational teaching and learning, ICT and interactive learning. Special features of the new school include an open planned design with a heart space which creates a sense of community.
